What’s Your Travel Love Language? | 5 Languages of Love: Travel Version

What is your travel love language?

According to the Love Language book, it is said that we all have different love languages that determine how we most receive love. It helps to know your own, your partner’s, family/friends love language so that you can express love in the way that most resonates with them. Let’s put a travel spin on the ‘love languages’. Which one are you?

Words of Affirmation

A sweet message from my best-friend that made me cry after our trip to San Diego.

A sweet message from my best-friend that made me cry after our trip to San Diego.

After the trip together, you receive a text that says “omg you are the best travel partner EVER!!! Let’s do it again ASAP” or they thank you endlessly for embarking on a journey with them. This is music to your ears and boom, you’ve already booked another trip together. ⁣

Physical Touch

You will freak if you can’t sit together on the plane bc then who will you hold hands with??? Y’all are all boo’d up in the Airbnb giving each other massages and doing Lord knows what else. The entire city is sick of your PDA but you’re quite literally so wrapped up in each other that you hardly notice. ⁣

Quality Time

You’re road-tripping to a campsite with no cell service so you can focus completely on each other. You’ll be roasting stores and playing card games. Honestly, you could be sleeping in a ditch but it doesn’t matter as long as you’re together. ⁣

Acts of Service

They booked the entire trip for you, from start to finish. They even helped you pack your bags. They make you breakfast in the B&B every morning and make dinner restaurants at that Michelin star restaurant you’ve been dying to visit. They’re taking the most IG worthy photos of you, getting all your angles. It’s your world baby, and everyone else is just living in it. ⁣

Receiving Gifts

OMG they surprised you with a fully paid trip to a place you’ve had on your lock screen for ages. You’re all set and they find you the perfect souvenir to remember your baecation by once the trip ends. ⁣
